139 Legal regulation and selected specifics of the service relationship of members of security forces and professional soldiers Abstract The thesis deals with the legal regulation and selected specifics of the service relationship of members of security forces and professional soldiers. The thesis offers an assessment of the individual legal regulations of the Law on Service Relations and the Law on Professional Soldiers, as well as their comparison. This is especially within the adequate jurisprudence, which in many places reflects the difficulties of applying the statutory amendments in practice. The thesis begins by discussing the very character, features and content of the service relationship. This is followed by a section dealing with the historical development of the legal regulation of the service relationship of members of the security forces and professional soldiers from the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic to the present day. However, the core of this thesis is an assessment of the current legal regulation of the Law on Service Relations and the Law on Professional Soldiers. Employment of women in the fire department of the Czech Republic

The dream of becoming a firefighter is not reserved for men. Even women have their dreams, and dreaming of becoming a firefighter one day is not a bad thing. I too have had such a dream since I was little and to know how I can become a firefighter, where I can apply everywhere, what I should prepare for, so I tried to find answers to that in my work. In the theoretical part, the reader will learn basic knowledge about the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. What kind of organizational structure it has and what kind of legislation is central to it. Subsequently, he will read what it means to be a member, how to become one, the rules of the employment relationship regarding maternity and parental leave. We see firefighters in the uniform that everyone wants to wear, but even that has its own rules. Also included are the possibilities of applying and the content of a woman's work at the territorial department and how other countries have it with women in the fire brigade. In the practical part, I carried out research and analysis using interviews with members of the HZS of the South Bohemian Region at the Regional Department of Písek and the Regional Directorate in České Budějovice. I asked all fourteen members, when there were 7 women and 7 men, 13 identical questions. The questions were constructed in such a way that the gender of the interviewee did not matter. The answer to the research question "What role does a woman have in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic?", "Can she be a valid part?" was discussed in the discussion. The objective of this thesis was met and the research question was answered. A woman has a wide range of employment at the Czech Republic's Fire and Rescue Service and is a valid part of the service. Whether, it will be in the office, in a leadership position or in a field unit.
Comparison of economic security systems in the service of the armed forces and security forces

The final qualification work through the application of methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis focuses on the issues of economics and social security of interest groups in the service in the armed forces and security forces of the Czech Republic. Through interdisciplinarity (economics, rights, etc.), the work follows the current problem, which is related to the issues of the effectiveness of ensuring the defense and security of the state on the one hand and public spending on social security on the other. Within the method set in this way, appropriate conclusions and appropriate recommendations are set, which aim to strengthen the mentioned efficiency and, consequently, to overall macroeconomic stability.

1 Termination of military service of a professional soldier with an emphasis on comparison with the termination of employment Abstract This thesis is devoted to the topic of the termination of military service of a professional soldier according to the law on professional soldiers in comparison to legal frame of termination of emplyoment according to the labour code. In regard to achieve that goal, a current legal regulation of termination of military service is described and differences from the legal regulation of termination of employment are highlighted. Concurrently, both the rights associated with the termination of military service and the consequences of the possible annulment of the decision on termination of military service were assessed. The result of the examination was to find out the significant similarity of both legal regulations, but also specific differences. The similarity can be seen in the case of selected ways of termination of both relationships (military service and employment) - the expiration of time, the death of a soldier or employee or the cancellation of the relationship during the trial period. Motivation to serve in the Czech armed forces among the professional soldiers after the experiences with the transformation of the rescue battalions

The work deals with the theme of motivation to serve in the Czech armed forces among the professional soldiers after the experiences with the transformation of the rescue battalions. The author talks about the influences which may change the motivation of extended active duty with the Czech armed forces. The work reacts to problems of the armed forces with the adequate human resources necessary for its operation and development which becomes very wide in these days. Besides the recruiting of new professionals, author sees the main point in the retention and condition of the stuff and its better use. Studying the genesis of the problems, author uses analyzes of the reformation process of armed forces its professionalization and practical experiences from the transformation of the rescue battalions from the year 2008. From the sources mentioned above and theoretical knowledge about motivation author presents and search the main motivation factors which influence leaving or extending the career of the professional soldiers in the Czech army. Author studies the literature, experiences and other sources. This work tries to offer concrete provisions, which may help to increase this motivation and which are useful with the tools of public and social politics.

Termination service reletionship of members of security bodies Czech republic Abstract This master thesis deals with the ways of terminating the service of the security corps in the Czech Republic. The work concentrates on the issue of the dismissal of a member of the service and the related decision of the service official at his own discretion. The work itself is divided into five chapters. The introductory chapter outlines the issue of employment in generally and the aim is to emphasize the inadequate regulation of the termination of service The following chapter deals with the basic components of the service relationship, such as the legal development of the service of the armed forces in the Czech Republic, the establishment of the employment relationship, conditions of relationship, its subsequent changes and the rights and obligations of the participants in this employment relationship. The main chapter describes all the ways of termination of service, which is allowed by the law on service. Most of all this chapter focuses on the way of termination of dismissal, because it is the most problematic from practice and it is most often reviewed and subsequently canceled by the judicial system of the Czech Republic. Civil service according to the Civil service Act and its changes due to annual systemization

The new Civil service Act № 234/2014 Coll. came more than three years ago into full effectiveness. The period before the full effectiveness described the author already in his diploma thesis named Civil service Act - Development and result. Therefore this thesis aims to describe and analyse the idea of Civil service as defined in the Civil service Act and focuses to its changes due to implementation of the annual systemization. Importance in the first part of the thesis is given to general introduction to the Civil service idea according to the Civil service Act. The ongoing novelization tendencies affecting various aspects of the Civil services are described, including the problems with application of passive voting right to the head of departments in the regional governments. The second part of the thesis describes the selected aspects of the change of the Civil service due to change of the systemization according to the § 17 of the Civil service Act. The attention is given to the description and analysis of the legal aspects of the systemization and its consequences to the changes of the Civil service of the head of departments. Comparison of Social Security Systems

This thesis is dedicated to a comparison of social security systems in the Czech Republic. Here, it relates to service relationships. Czech social security administration pays pension and sickness benefits. These benefits are different for men and women and are also different for each type of service relationship. These benefits are calculated from a salary. For each calculation are used information provided by Ministry of labor and social affairs website. This thesis draws a comparison between benefits for men and benefits for women. It draws a comparison between benefits for each type of service relationship, too. The theoretical part of this thesis describes service relationships and social security system and the practical part compares calculated benefits. The main goal of this thesis is not to determine the best social security system but only their comparison.

4 Abstract Employee appraisal is one of the human resource management activities, meant to be effective means of control, regulation, and employee motivation. Appraisal of security forces officers is linked to differences between state service, and employment. This bachelor's thesis presents compact overview of appraisal of Czech police officers and Czech fire brigade officers. By comparison of appraisal systems these two law-enforcement agencies, there can be determined fundamental similarities and differences.
